About The Position

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will collaborate to gather and review software requirements, provide estimates, create software design specifications, and assess hardware and software interactions. You will execute a specific development methodology using various programming languages, create and execute automated test plans, and support applications by solving configuration and environment issues. You will also support the software deployment process, perform various types of testing, and troubleshoot application issues. This position requires a strong understanding of software development best practices, coding standards, and security principles.

Requirements

Requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent degree, in Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or Computer Science
Three (3) years of experience in the job offered or three (3) years of experience in a related occupation
Utilizing .NET and Python programming languages
Experience with development tools including Visual Studio, Power Automate
Experience using Azure resources—including Synapse, Function Apps, and Blob Storage
Experience designing, developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining software applications
Experience utilizing APIs to access and integrate data from various tools
Experience developing automated test plans
Experience troubleshooting application issues
Experience supporting software deployments
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams for requirements gathering and design specification
Experience applying software development best practices, coding standards, and security principles

Responsibilities

Collaborate to gather and review software requirements/user stories, provide estimates, create software design specifications and collaborate with engineers/architects to assess and test hardware and software interactions.
Execute a specific development methodology through application of various programming languages.
Create and execute automated test plans/strategies utilizing business requirements and collaborate with engineers/architects, clients, etc. to validate test environments, test data and test results, design and implement code fixes, validate outcomes against expected results and produce associated reporting.
Perform dynamic application security testing, interface testing, integration testing, end-to-end testing and/or user acceptance testing.
Support applications and solves configuration and environment issues.
Supports the software deployment process.
Utilize .NET and Python programming languages and have experience with development tools including Visual Studio, Power Automate.
Use Azure resources—including Synapse, Function Apps, and Blob Storage.
Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain software applications.
Utilize APIs to access and integrate data from various tools.
Develop automated test plans.
Troubleshoot application issues.
Support software deployments.
