About The Position

Apple’s Enterprise Technology Services group implements and manages leading-edge applications, including Product LifeCycle Management (PLM), the Enterprise Global Compliance platform (FMD – Full Material Disclosure), Enterprise Data Services (EDS), and the software archival and distribution platform (NFA). These platforms manage Apple hardware and software product information and support high-impact projects across Apple lines of business.

The Senior Software Engineer/Technical Lead will ensure the enhancement, availability, performance, and maintenance of highly available, mission-critical enterprise platforms and applications used to manage regulatory compliance for Apple products, including Mac, iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch. The role partners with cross-functional teams across Apple and calls for a motivated, detail-oriented professional with strong communication skills.

Requirements

• At least 6 years of experience designing and developing scalable, distributed backend systems.
• Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate/JPA, REST APIs, multithreading, and data caching such as Redis.
• Experience architecting microservice-based systems with clear service boundaries and API contracts.
• Ability to translate business and technical requirements into detailed architecture and design.
• Frontend experience with React, TypeScript, and modern CSS; familiarity with component-driven design systems.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
• Experience with relational databases such as Oracle and PostgreSQL, and NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, including data modeling and schema design.
• Comfort deploying to containerized or cloud-native environments such as Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS.
• Experience building solutions using GenAI.
