About The Position

GliaCell is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join one of their subcontracts. This is a full-time position where the engineer will support a U.S. Government customer by providing technical expertise to sustain critical mission-related software and systems on a large government contract. GliaCell Technologies focuses on Software & System Engineering in Enterprise and Cyber Security solution spaces, utilizing Agile Software Development principles to deliver stable and reliable software solutions with quick turn-around times. Their Enterprise capabilities include Full-Stack Application Development, Big Data, Cloud Technologies, Analytics, Machine Learning, AI, and DevOps Containerization. They also provide customer solutions in CND, CNE, and CNO, including Threat Mitigation, Vulnerability Exposure, Penetration Testing, Threat Hunting, and Preventing Advanced Persistent Threats.

Requirements

Possess an active or rein-statable TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance. (This position requires in-scope poly, within 7 years).
U.S. Citizenship.
14+ years Software Engineering experience and a BS degree in Computer Science or related.
Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
Works well independently as well as on a team.
Strong communication skills.

Nice To Haves

Strong Java experience as well as experience with MapReduce, Cloud experience, GhostMachine and QTA.
