Senior Software Engineer, Options Execution

About The Position

DRW is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to develop new and improve existing low-latency trade execution systems for its Asia Equity Options business. As a member of the desk, the engineer will work across research and trading teams, use low-latency technologies, and collaborate with senior technologists.

Requirements

Significant experience developing high-availability systems in C++ and Python with tight resource and latency constraints.
Experience interfacing with ultra-low-latency FPGA trading systems.
Strong experience working on highly distributed systems.
Strong understanding of C++17 and beyond, Boost, and STL.
At least 4 years of experience in the trading industry.
Prior experience working on options or derivative products.
Background in multithreaded programming and a strong understanding of hardware/software interaction.
Comfort working under the hood, with performance tuning and troubleshooting experience involving applications, Linux, and socket I/O.
Experience working with research teams and quantitative researchers.
Strong understanding of software engineering principles and best practices.
Strong interpersonal skills, a team-oriented approach, and a passion for problem-solving.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of Python is a plus.
