You will take on ambiguous, higher-scope problems, make the key technical tradeoffs, and be accountable for the correctness, performance, and reliability of what you own.

Requirements

A strong track record of owning and shipping systems at scale
Command of system design, data modeling, and the reliability and cost tradeoffs that come with scale
The ability to lead ambiguous work to a clear outcome
Genuine, current fluency with AI-assisted development
A high bar for quality and a strong sense of ownership

Responsibilities

Own significant systems and features end-to-end, from design through production and operation
Break down hard, ambiguous problems and drive them to shipped outcomes
Own the reliability, performance, and cost of the systems you are responsible for
Partner across product, design, and engineering to solve problems that span teams
Raise the quality bar and set patterns that make the people around you more effective
