About The Position

Design, implement, test, review, and maintain Unity’s Monetization platform, products, and services, enabling developers to build businesses through advertising, in-app purchases, and analytics. Write high-quality, scalable code supporting existing and future product functionality and ensure successful delivery. Address system scalability, performance, large data volumes, and functional requirements, including work toward rule engines and machine learning. Manage individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables, and translate business requirements into engineering features. The position is based in Bellevue, Washington, with telecommuting permitted on a hybrid schedule determined by the employer. The schedule is 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Requirements

Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field.
Three years of related work experience.
Three years of experience designing APIs, backend services, and systems.
Three years of experience implementing and reviewing code in Golang, Node.js, TypeScript, and Python.
Three years of experience with SQL, NoSQL, and key-value data storage systems such as Postgres, MongoDB, and Redis.
Three years of experience with BigQuery or other data warehousing solutions.
Three years of experience working with streaming platforms and queues such as Kafka and NATS.
Three years of experience using Terraform to manage cloud infrastructure.
Three years of experience creating Python notebooks to analyze datasets and provide insights.
Three years of experience coordinating with product and delivering products end to end.
Sufficient English proficiency for frequent professional verbal and written communication with colleagues and partners worldwide.

Responsibilities
