About The Position

HappyRobot is hiring a Senior Backend Software Engineer to own meaningful parts of its product and infrastructure end-to-end. The role involves building and operating scalable backend services, improving the reliability and performance of production systems, and contributing to real-time infrastructure for voice-based AI workflows. The engineer will collaborate with frontend engineers, product, and the founders, and ship frequently while iterating in response to customer needs and system behavior. HappyRobot builds infrastructure that enables enterprises to create and orchestrate AI workforces. The company began in logistics and developed its own voice stack, models, and orchestration layer. Its platform supports critical operations for global enterprises. Requirements

At least 5 years of professional experience.
Strong backend engineering experience focused on building scalable systems.
Experience with Go, or strong willingness to work with Go in production.
Solid understanding of system design, APIs, data modeling, and service reliability.
Product-oriented mindset and comfort making tradeoffs in a fast-moving environment.
Experience operating and maintaining production services.
