About The Position

GliaCell is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to support a U.S. Government customer on one of their subcontracts. This full-time position involves providing technical expertise to sustain critical mission-related software and systems for a large government contract. The team designs, develops, and maintains a suite of web-based analysis tools, building and deploying multiple applications across diverse tech stacks. These include containerized React UIs, Java and Go microservices, custom REST security services, and data stores like MongoDB and an OpenSearch cluster. The program offers users real-time alerting, historical querying with smart query builders, and document storage and retrieval capabilities.

Requirements

• Possess an active or rein-statable TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance.
• U.S. Citizenship.
• 14+ years Software Engineering experience and a BS degree in Computer Science or related.
• Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
• Works well independently as well as on a team.
• Strong communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Git/Gitlab
• Experience in web application development
• Experience with Docker containers and an orchestration technology such as Kubernetes or Docker-compose
