About The Position

Develops enterprise software solutions and performs end-to-end functional and non-functional testing within an Agile environment. Designs, develops, and maintains full-stack applications using Java/Spring MVC, Spring Core, Spring Boot, Angular, and Node.js, and builds interactive user interfaces with Bootstrap 5, CSS, AG Grid, and Angular Material. Writes and maintains automated unit, integration, and end-to-end tests using tools including Cypress, JUnit, Cucumber, and Karate. Supports highly available, multi-region Kubernetes environments on AWS EKS for mission-critical workloads, and writes SQL queries and debugs stored procedures in Oracle. The role provides business solutions through complex or multiple software applications and performs independent, complex technical and functional analysis across multiple projects and initiatives. The engineer designs and maintains scalable, high-performance web applications and end-to-end solutions using modern frameworks, APIs, databases, and cloud-native services. The role collaborates with product managers, architects, UX designers, and engineering teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions; builds responsive, accessible interfaces and RESTful APIs, microservices, and event-driven architectures; and develops, deploys, and supports solutions on AWS and Azure. It also promotes DevOps practices, application security, reliability, scalability, and performance; conducts code reviews and technical mentorship; troubleshoots production issues; and works with cross-functional teams on organizational, security, and regulatory compliance. Fidelity is transitioning to a full-time onsite working model through a phased rollout across regions and roles. Current onsite requirements vary by role and location and may evolve. This transition does not apply to fully remote roles. Fidelity will not provide immigration sponsorship for this position.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a closely related field (or foreign education equivalent), plus three years of experience as a Senior Full Stack Engineer or in a closely related occupation designing, developing, testing, and maintaining UI, Java middle-tier, and PLSQL back-end software using Agile or Scrum methodologies; alternatively, a relevant master’s degree plus one year of such experience.
Demonstrated expertise designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-scale web applications using front-end technologies such as Angular, React, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, AG-Grid, and Angular Material, and back-end technologies such as Java, Node.js, or similar frameworks.
Demonstrated expertise implementing front-end unit tests using JUnit, Jest, Cypress, and Playwright.
Demonstrated expertise implementing and coordinating CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Git or GitHub, Kubernetes, Bitbucket, and Artifactory.
Demonstrated expertise monitoring code quality using SonarQube and Veracode.
Demonstrated expertise in infrastructure automation using Python and PowerShell.
Demonstrated expertise performing and automating load testing using JMeter, Selenium, Cypress, and TestNG.
Demonstrated expertise building Jenkins pipelines for Docker containers and deploying applications in a cloud environment.
Demonstrated expertise designing and developing RESTful APIs using Java 17, Spring Boot, OAuth, and Python.
Demonstrated expertise building scalable messaging applications using Kafka.
Demonstrated expertise developing secure, cloud-native applications using AWS core services, including EC2, S3, and Lambda.
Demonstrated expertise coordinating infrastructure automation using DevOps scripting, Python, and PowerShell.
Demonstrated expertise using Datadog for real-time monitoring.
Demonstrated expertise developing and coordinating database systems using Oracle, including database normalization and Oracle query tuning.

Responsibilities

Develop enterprise software solutions and perform end-to-end functional and non-functional testing in an Agile environment.
Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using Java/Spring MVC, Spring Core, Spring Boot, Angular, and Node.js.
Implement interactive, responsive, accessible user interfaces using Bootstrap 5, CSS, AG Grid, Angular Material, and related front-end technologies.
