About The Position

GliaCell is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to support a U.S. Government customer on one of our subcontracts. This full-time position involves providing technical expertise to sustain critical mission-related software and systems for a large government contract. The role focuses on modernizing a legacy operational system using a microservices-based architecture and cutting-edge technologies. GliaCell Technologies specializes in Software & System Engineering within Enterprise and Cyber Security solutions, emphasizing Agile Software Development principles for quick turn-around and integration of industry-standard software stacks. Our enterprise capabilities span Full-Stack Application Development, Big Data, Cloud Technologies, Analytics, Machine Learning, AI, and DevOps Containerization. We also offer solutions in CND, CNE, and CNO, including assessments and solutions in Threat Mitigation, Vulnerability Exposure, Penetration Testing, Threat Hunting, and Preventing Advanced Persistent Threats.

Requirements

Possess an active or rein-statable TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance.
An active Top Secret clearance with polygraph (CI within the last 7 years).
9 years of relevant experience with a bachelors degree, or 7 years of relevant experience with a master's degree.
U.S. Citizenship.
Works well independently as well as on a team.
Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

Writing Java Spring Boot based micro service applications utilizing AWS native technologies
Utilize Python to optimize AWS services such as Lambdas, Step Functions, EC2 and S3
Building REST services with Spring able to filter and select complex data objects
Implement CI/CD principals utilizing Maven, Gitlab and GitOps
Agile development and delivery of software
Communication and collaboration: Software Development is a team-oriented discipline. Engineers need to be able to communicate and collaborate effectively with other team members, as well as with stakeholders.
