Full Stack JavaScript Web Application Developer (Ref: 5884)
About The Position
Estrada Consulting, Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, maintain, and enhance mission-critical web applications for a California public-sector client. The consultant will support custom web-based solutions, system integrations, database operations, business rules and calculations, testing, and technical documentation. This is a remote position for candidates residing in the United States. The role is a full-time, 12-month contract with a possible 12-month extension. Work hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM Pacific Time. Candidates must work remotely from within the United States, be available during Pacific Time business hours, complete required background screening and onboarding, and provide verifiable professional references.
Requirements
- At least four years of demonstrated experience developing and maintaining mission-critical, intuitive and user-friendly, performance-oriented solutions that require little formal training and may feature online training, on-screen help, and decentralized account management.
- At least four years of experience developing and maintaining web-based solutions.
- At least four years of experience troubleshooting code and performing full-stack edge testing based on user requirements or stories.
- At least four years of experience performing complex database queries in Oracle or Microsoft SQL Server for data conversion, data analysis, and visual reporting.
- At least three years of experience with one or more of JavaScript, TypeScript, Azure DevOps/GitHub, VueJS, React, Angular, HTML, or CSS.
- At least three years of experience with one or more of Oracle SQL, Microsoft SQL Server, MongoDB, REST APIs, functions, triggers, or stored procedures.
- Must reside and perform all remote work within the United States.
- Must be available during Pacific Time business hours.
- Must successfully complete required background screening and onboarding procedures.
- Must provide verifiable professional references.
Nice To Haves
- Experience integrating PCI-DSS-compliant payment portals into web applications.
- Experience using Composition API in VueJS.
- Experience with MongoDB, Fastify, ExpressJS, or FeathersJS.
- Experience creating multi-stage MongoDB Aggregation Pipelines.
- Familiarity with Linux and Docker images for local development.
- Experience with Vuetify or PrimeVue third-party component libraries.
- Experience using JavaScript libraries such as PDFMake to create PDF reports.
- Experience using Oracle SQL Developer or Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio.
- Experience using Visual Studio Code (VSCode).
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain secure, user-friendly, high-performance web applications.
- Develop full-stack functionality, including user interfaces, APIs, and database integrations.
- Integrate applications with existing enterprise systems and data sources.
- Develop complex SQL queries for data conversion, analysis, and reporting.
- Troubleshoot application code and perform edge-case testing based on user requirements.
- Implement configurable business rules, calculations, and data validation processes.
- Support user acceptance testing, defect resolution, and application enhancements.
- Prepare technical documentation and collaborate with technical and business stakeholders.
