Senior Software Engineer, Python ( Remote)

Telnyx is seeking a passionate individual with strong Python skills and experience with microservices to join their Python team. The role involves building highly available low latency microservices using cutting-edge technologies, creating internal tools, and solving complex problems as the company scales. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of microservice architecture patterns, experience with web application development using Python, and familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, Consul, Jenkins, Prometheus, or RabbitMQ. • Design developer-friendly APIs
• Build, test, and deploy applications to deliver critical global communications services
• Identify and resolve issues related to latency, scalability, and performance
• Create tools to automate aspects of production systems
• Take a thoughtful approach to decision making
• Have 6+ years of professional software development experience with an object-oriented programming language
• Have experience with web application development using Python
• Be comfortable working with relational databases at scale
• Have experience in a highly-available, uptime-critical production environment
