Senior Software Engineer (.NET/Angular)
About The Position
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer who can own complex components and contribute to building the architecture, engineering culture, and technical foundation of a platform expected to evolve for years. This role involves taking ownership of significant capabilities across SyncCore (a Mission Operating System) or SyncPoint (a modular application ecosystem), from architecture and domain modeling through APIs, event-driven workflows, data persistence, user experience, testing, deployment, and production performance. The engineer will decide how services communicate, where boundaries belong, how data moves through the system, and how to build software that remains secure, observable, maintainable, and extensible. Additionally, the role includes raising the engineering capability of the team through thoughtful code reviews, mentoring junior and mid-level engineers, challenging architectural assumptions, and establishing patterns. The work can involve the SyncCore platform itself (identity, integration, eventing, canonical data, shared services, governance, auditability, and platform APIs) or leading the engineering of a SyncPoint mission module. The company emphasizes a hands-on, impactful role with direct connection to the problem, architecture, and decision-makers.
Requirements
- Typically 7+ years of professional software development experience.
- Advanced C# and modern .NET / ASP.NET Core.
- Strong enterprise backend and REST API development at scale.
- Deep relational data and ORM experience, including design and performance work.
- Angular or comparable modern enterprise frontend experience.
- Experience with asynchronous messaging and event-driven systems (sagas, eventual consistency, idempotency, production failure modes).
- Experience with distributed or microservice-based applications.
- Strong automated testing and diagnostic instincts.
- Ability to independently own complex features or entire application components.
- Real experience conducting technical code reviews and mentoring other engineers.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- Interim Secret eligibility is required (PE sponsors).
