Junior Software Engineer (.NET/Angular)
About The Position
Pioneering Evolution is seeking engineers at the start of their careers to help build SyncPoint™ and SyncCore™. SyncCore is a Mission Operating System designed to connect data, systems, workflows, and decisions across complex mission environments, providing a secure, event-driven digital backbone. SyncPoint is a modular application ecosystem built on SyncCore, addressing specific operational needs like requirements management, budgeting, and decision support. The role involves writing production code, participating in design discussions, reviewing code, and gradually taking ownership of features.
Requirements
- Software development fundamentals and a working grasp of object-oriented programming.
- Experience with C# or any other statically typed language (Java, Kotlin, C++, Go, TypeScript, Swift are acceptable).
- Familiarity with relational databases and SQL.
- Some understanding of web applications, HTTP, and APIs.
- Exposure to JavaScript or TypeScript.
- Familiarity with Git.
- The ability to work a problem systematically and communicate when a problem does not make sense.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- Eligibility for an interim Secret clearance (sponsorship provided).
Nice To Haves
- Professional experience is not required; internship, co-op, academic, military, open-source, or serious personal-project work can demonstrate required skills.
- Prior .NET, Angular, PostgreSQL, Entity Framework, RabbitMQ, or Azure experience is not required.
- Not all buzzwords are required; solid fundamentals and real curiosity are valued over knowing every term.
