About The Position

As a Senior Software Engineer in Test, you will combine technical experience in test automation with business domain knowledge and data analysis. Working in an agile structure, you will partner with product leads to implement test automation and perform manual testing, helping the team build stable applications that meet business needs.

You will work with technologists to promote testing practices, implement test automation, and conduct testing with development and business partners. The role is part of Fidelity's FFIO Test Engineering Chapter, which partners with product leaders and team members aligned to FFIO Product Areas to support technology initiatives.

Fidelity is transitioning to a full-time onsite working model through a phased rollout across regions and roles. Current onsite expectations vary by role and location and may evolve. This transition does not apply to fully remote roles. Fidelity will not provide immigration sponsorship for this position.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software product experience working on commercially available software.
• 3+ years of relevant technical experience and experience in test automation.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology.
• Testing process and automation experience.
• Bachelor's degree or greater.
• Hands-on experience crafting and maintaining testing frameworks such as JUnit, Cucumber, Cypress, or Playwright.
• Intermediate Java skills.
• Good understanding of web services testing.
• SQL skills.
• Data analysis and technical troubleshooting.
