About The Position

Develops omni-channel experience applications using VueJS, Angular 10+, TypeScript, NodeJS, HTML/CSS, and Java. Automates and deploys code using CI/CD tools, Git, Jenkins, and uDeploy; builds and integrates HTTP-based APIs; and develops applications using JavaScript, TypeScript, CSS, HTML, and browser developer tools. Migrates monolithic applications to microservices architecture using Node.js, AWS resources, and relational SQL databases (Oracle). Provides business solutions by developing complex software applications. The role designs and develops applications and subsystems across multiple projects and platforms, supports testing through implementation, assists with user acceptance testing, and creates comprehensive application documentation. It also includes post-installation testing, project planning for work of moderate scope, and independent technical and functional analysis across complex assignments. Candidates must have a qualifying degree and experience developing and securing web applications and APIs in a financial services environment, or the specified alternative master's-degree and experience combination. The position does not provide immigration sponsorship. Fidelity is transitioning to a full-time onsite working model through a phased rollout; onsite expectations vary by role and location and may evolve. This transition does not apply to fully remote roles.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a closely related field (or foreign education equivalent), and three years of experience as a Senior Software Engineer/Developer or closely related occupation developing and securing web applications and APIs in a financial services environment; alternatively, a master’s degree in one of those fields (or foreign education equivalent) and one year of such experience.
Demonstrated expertise designing and deploying secure, scalable cloud-native architectures on AWS using Terraform, CloudFormation, and the Serverless framework.
Demonstrated expertise integrating RabbitMQ, Amazon SQS, and SES for reliable data delivery.
Demonstrated expertise using DynamoDB and relational MySQL and Oracle databases to support application workloads and data structures.
Demonstrated expertise using Informatica and SOAP API integrations for ETL processes.
Demonstrated expertise using Splunk, Grafana, and CloudWatch for monitoring, logging, and system health and performance visibility.
Demonstrated expertise developing scalable multi-tenant web applications with React and GraphQL APIs; engineering PostgreSQL schemas, Redis caching, and Node.js cron jobs for reporting workflows; and building configurable platforms with RBAC, branding, and data segregation.
Demonstrated expertise ensuring application quality using Jest, Selenium, and CI/CD pipelines.
Demonstrated expertise in full-stack engineering with Angular, Vue, NestJS, and Java; applying DDD and TDD for modular microservices; and using robust testing and Jenkins-based CI/CD pipelines.
Demonstrated expertise delivering enterprise solutions using DDD, clean code, and orchestration practices; building KPI dashboards and low-code applications with PowerApps and PowerAutomate; integrating Stratum and Digital Exchange; using Power BI, App Insights, and LaunchDarkly for observability; and streamlining delivery with Azure Pipelines and global alignment tools.

Responsibilities

Develop omni-channel experience applications using VueJS, Angular 10+, TypeScript, NodeJS, HTML/CSS, and Java.

Implement monitoring and logging strategies and provide visibility into system health and performance.
Develop scalable multi-tenant web applications with React and GraphQL APIs; engineer database schemas, caching, and reporting workflows.
Build configurable platforms with role-based access control, branding, and data segregation; ensure quality using automated testing and CI/CD pipelines.
Perform full-stack engineering with Angular, Vue, NestJS, and Java; apply DDD and TDD to modular microservices.
Build scalable backends, integrate diverse frontends, and automate public data scraping.
Deliver enterprise solutions using DDD, clean code, and orchestration practices; build KPI dashboards and low-code applications and integrate specified enterprise systems.
Enable observability and streamline delivery using the specified monitoring, analytics, feature-management, and pipeline tools.
