Senior Software Engineer - Data Systems for Machine Learning

Coactive AI is seeking a software engineer to work with their team of experts in machine learning and data systems to build production-grade data systems that can understand unstructured image and video data. The ideal candidate should have a BS in Computer Science or related fields, 5+ years of production-level experience in Python, Java, C++, or similar language, and experience developing data-intensive systems that power critical business processes. The estimated annual base salary for this position is between $153,000-$180,000, and Coactive offers a supportive work environment, market-leading equity grants, and unlimited PTO.

• BS (or higher) in Computer Science or related fields, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of production-level experience in one of: Python, Java, C++, or similar language
• Experience developing data intensive systems that power critical business processes
• Experience working on enterprise software or cloud native platforms.
• Experience with security and systems that handle sensitive data
• Equally comfortable working on a white-board, pair programming, or presenting to small groups
• Good knowledge of SQL
