About The Position

Join Intel’s global Digital Engineering Solutions team as a Senior Software Development Engineer, leading the design, development, and delivery of next-generation digital, cloud, data, and AI-powered solutions for Intel’s Construction and Supply Chain organizations worldwide. This is a three-year contract opportunity. The role provides technical leadership across the software development lifecycle. You will partner with product owners, architects, business stakeholders, and engineering teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performance applications. You will translate complex business requirements into technical solutions, promote engineering best practices, mentor junior engineers, and influence the technical direction of strategic platforms. You will contribute to the delivery and continuous improvement of strategic, business-critical applications and platforms throughout the contract. The position calls for software engineering expertise, cloud-native development experience, business acumen, and the ability to lead complex initiatives from concept through deployment and operational support. The role is based in Phoenix, Arizona, and is eligible for Intel’s hybrid work model, with time split between the assigned Intel site and off-site work. The listed shift is Shift 1 (United States of America).

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical degree.
At least 7 years of software engineering experience delivering enterprise applications and platforms.
Strong hands-on software development background with modern technologies such as C#, .NET, React, TypeScript, Python, or similar.
Ability to partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements, define solutions, and translate business needs into technical specifications.
Experience bridging business and development teams by creating user stories, process flows, and implementation roadmaps.
Strong understanding of software architecture, APIs, integrations, cloud platforms, and modern development practices, and ability to communicate effectively with engineers and architects.
Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and driving solution delivery from concept through implementation.
Strong technical leadership and ownership mindset, with ability to lead through influence in cross-functional and matrixed environments.
Strong problem-solving, critical-thinking, customer-focus, and communication skills, including explaining complex technical topics to technical and non-technical audiences.
Self-motivated, proactive, results-oriented, and committed to continuous learning about emerging technologies, cloud computing, and AI.
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.

Nice To Haves

Experience designing enterprise-scale software platforms, APIs, integrations, distributed systems, and cloud-native solutions.
Experience with AI-enabled applications, Generative AI, LLM integrations, AI agents, machine learning platforms, and data-driven solutions.
Knowledge of modern software engineering practices, including DevOps, CI/CD, GitHub, Azure DevOps, containerization, and cloud platforms.
Experience translating complex business requirements into technical architectures, solution designs, and implementation roadmaps while collaborating with business stakeholders and engineering teams.
