About The Position

Uline is seeking a Senior Java Software Developer to lead the development, deployment, and maintenance of sophisticated Java applications. The role supports business needs through robust software solutions and contributes to the technology landscape of Uline’s growing North American company. It is based on-site at the Corporate Headquarters in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or relevant programming education and experience.
• At least 7 years of hands-on Java full-stack development experience.
• Strong track record delivering enterprise solutions using the Spring framework.
• Extensive experience with REST web services, microservice environments, Git, JPA, SQL, JSON, SOAP, XML, and code versioning tools.
• Working knowledge of caching and service discovery.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and Agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Craft, test, and deploy robust Java applications aligned with business needs using industry-leading technologies and coding standards.
• Conduct code reviews, optimize performance, and ensure application responsiveness and quality.
• Assist with architectural design reviews and project planning, contributing insights for strategic advancements.
• Guide and mentor fellow developers and demonstrate leadership in cross-functional development practices.
• Collaborate with the development team to support consistent processes and timely deliverables.
