About The Position

This role will focus on building scalable, high-performance applications while utilizing modern AI-assisted coding practices to improve productivity and code quality. The Senior Red Layer Developer will have strong experience in the latest version of Angular and Java, with hands-on expertise in front-end Red Layer development and payment-related applications. A key requirement is prior IBX experience and a strong understanding of payments, application ecosystem, and integrations, enabling minimal ramp-up time. The role also involves HTML, CSS or SCSS along with hands-on experience leveraging AI-assisted development tools such as GitLab Duo and Large Language Models (LLMs) like Gemini.

Requirements

Strong hands-on experience with Java development (Spring Boot or similar frameworks preferred).
Solid experience building modern frontend applications with Angular (preferably Angular 19).
Minimum 6 months of hands-on experience using AI-assisted development tools, including: GitLab Duo or similar AI coding assistants, Large Language Models (LLMs) such as Gemini or comparable platforms.
Experience building REST APIs and microservices architectures.
Strong understanding of software design principles, clean code practices, and version control (Git/GitLab).
Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of Flutter development using Dart.
Exposure to mobile application development using Swift (iOS) and Kotlin (Android).
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Familiarity with DevOps tools, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization.
Hands on experience on Google Antigravity agentic AI development platform.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications using Java and Angular.
