About The Position

As a Senior Software Business Analyst with Product Owner responsibilities at Solventum, you will bridge business needs and technical requirements. Working closely with Product Leadership, stakeholders, and the Delivery Team, you will clarify intended outcomes, shape work into valuable increments, and support sound team-level decisions. You will help ensure that delivery aligns with customer and product needs, acceptance criteria, and relevant constraints, while avoiding unnecessary prescription of technical implementation. You will also develop deep knowledge of application components, features, and workflows and serve as a subject matter expert.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field and seven or more years of experience in product delivery, business analysis, product ownership, or a closely related role; or HS/GED and eleven or more years of such experience.
Ability to translate business or product goals into clear outcomes, acceptance criteria, and ordered work.
Ability to make timely decisions and explain trade-offs using customer value, evidence, risk, and product context.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including facilitation across technical and non-technical audiences.
Strong knowledge of iterative or agile product delivery practices and backlog management.
Ability to collaborate effectively while maintaining clear accountability for team-level product decisions.
Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status.

Responsibilities

Elicit, document, analyze, and track business requirements from stakeholders.
Translate business requirements into clear, accurate, and testable user stories.
Own, maintain, and order the team backlog based on product goals, customer value, risk, dependencies, and learning needs.
Translate product goals and features into understandable outcomes, increments of value, and team-level work.
Clarify customer, user, and stakeholder needs, including acceptance criteria, intended results, and relevant constraints.
Prepare work to enable productive team conversations without unnecessarily prescribing technical implementation.
Balance features, defects, enablers, technical health, compliance needs, operational concerns, and discovery or learning work.
Partner with the Delivery Team to split work into small, testable, and valuable increments.
Accept completed work from a product and value perspective, confirming it satisfies the agreed need and acceptance criteria.
Collaborate continuously with the Delivery Team, Product Manager, and stakeholders to maintain alignment and address emerging information.
Communicate priority, scope, decisions, and trade-offs so the team understands current and upcoming priorities.
Use feedback and delivery evidence to refine priorities and recommend adjustments to product direction.
Participate in evaluating and improving internal processes and methods.
Develop a deep understanding of application components and become a subject matter expert on features and workflows.
Comply with corporate policies, procedures, and security standards while performing assigned duties.
