Florence Healthcare - US•Atlanta, GA

About The Position

Florence is seeking a Senior Software Architect to define and evolve scalable, secure, and resilient technical solutions across its multi-tenant, multi-region platform. The architecture spans enterprise applications, platform services, data systems, integrations, and AI capabilities. This hands-on technical leadership role translates complex business and product requirements into practical, reusable architectures and implementation roadmaps. The architect collaborates with Engineering, Product, Platform, Data, AI, Security, Professional Services, and customer-facing teams to meet immediate needs while supporting long-term product and technology strategy. The role influences technical direction across teams, leads architecture decisions and design reviews for high-impact initiatives, develops reference architectures and technical documentation, and mentors engineers and technical leaders without formal management authority. It promotes reusable patterns, engineering standards, maintainability, security, reliability, and engineering velocity, while helping Florence adopt AI and intelligent automation where they provide measurable business value. Florence develops software used by research teams worldwide to support clinical research. The company describes its culture as high-output, experimental, shipping-focused, and grounded in integrity, and emphasizes building technology that helps advance cures and therapies.
