About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Senior Site Superintendent / Project Manager to lead high-end residential construction projects across the Greater Boston area. This role is responsible for managing projects from preconstruction through final closeout, ensuring they are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate has extensive experience managing multifamily, luxury residential, and renovation projects in the Boston market. You'll oversee daily field operations, coordinate subcontractors and project teams, resolve construction challenges, and serve as the primary leader driving successful project execution.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of construction experience with increasing leadership responsibility.
  • 10+ years managing residential construction projects within the Greater Boston area.
  • Strong background in ground-up multifamily, luxury residential, and major renovation projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of Boston permitting, inspections, urban construction logistics, and local subcontractor networks.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining quality, schedule, and budget goals.
  • Strong understanding of construction scheduling, sequencing, and project documentation.
  • Experience using Procore, Buildertrend, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, Excel, or similar construction management software.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with historic renovations or brownstone restoration is highly preferred.
  • OSHA certification or equivalent safety training is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple residential construction projects from mobilization through final turnover.
  • Oversee all on-site construction activities, ensuring projects remain on schedule and within budget.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, architects, engineers, inspectors, and clients throughout each phase of construction.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, look-ahead plans, and sequencing strategies.
  • Review drawings, specifications, contracts, and scopes of work to ensure accurate execution.
  • Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, daily reports, and project documentation.
  • Conduct site meetings, progress reviews, quality inspections, and subcontractor coordination meetings.
  • Coordinate inspections, permitting requirements, deliveries, and site logistics.
  • Identify and resolve field issues, design conflicts, existing condition challenges, and material delays.
  • Maintain exceptional workmanship standards throughout structural and finish work.
  • Enforce OSHA regulations and company safety policies while maintaining clean, organized jobsites.
  • Provide regular project updates to ownership, clients, and internal leadership.
  • Drive punch-list completion and ensure a successful project closeout.
