About The Position

Axon is hiring a Senior Site Reliability Engineer for its Platform team, which supports cloud infrastructure handling large volumes of digital evidence. The team is modernizing its platform with Kubernetes-native lifecycle management, GitOps-driven configuration, and infrastructure as code. Its environment includes relational and NoSQL datastores, caches, queues, Kafka, Terraform, and Grafana. The role sets technical direction for platform technologies, including architectural decisions, standardization, and approaches to scale, resilience, and automation. The engineer will build a Kubernetes-based platform for automated infrastructure lifecycle management and a self-service platform for datastore solutions, and partner with application teams on platform usage, database performance, and optimization. The position is based in the Atlanta, Seattle, or Boston office and follows a hybrid schedule: onsite Tuesday through Friday and remote on Monday, subject to approved workplace accommodations.
