Axon•Boston, MA
•$134,250 - $214,800•Hybrid

About The Position

Axon’s Platform team builds and operates the infrastructure that ingests, stores, and protects digital evidence, including video, audio, photographs, and sensor data. The team is modernizing its platform with Kubernetes-native lifecycle management, GitOps-driven configuration, and infrastructure as code. Its environment includes relational and NoSQL datastores, caches, queues, Kafka, Terraform, and observability tools such as Grafana. In this role, you will set technical direction for platform technologies and make architectural decisions about datastore patterns, scale, reliability, and automation. You will build a Kubernetes-based platform and self-service datastore services, and partner with application teams across Axon on platform adoption, design patterns, performance, and optimization. The position is based in the Atlanta, Seattle, or Boston office and follows a hybrid schedule: onsite Tuesday through Friday and remote on Monday, unless an approved workplace accommodation applies. Axon seeks a U.S. citizen able to gain CJIS clearance for full U.S. production access.
