About The Position

Trimedx is seeking a Senior Site Manager for Clinical Engineering to lead clinical engineering initiatives, ensuring superior customer service and operational efficiency. This role involves managing the execution of the TRIMEDX Medical Equipment Management Plan (MEMP), overseeing daily operations, fostering positive customer relationships, developing associates, and serving as a liaison between hospital executives and TRIMEDX. The Senior Site Manager will also direct Joint Commission inspections and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. This position is located onsite in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Requirements

  • Minimum 7 years’ experience managing in a clinical engineering or equivalent environment with proven business acumen and ability to develop others.
  • Minimum 3 years of people leadership experience.
  • Ability to manage day-to-day and long-term site operations.
  • Ability to lead, motivate, and develop others.
  • Ability to perform financial analysis and calculate budgets, revenue, and costs.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications required.
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentational communication skills.
  • Build relationships across a diverse customer base.
  • Must think and manage strategically.
  • Provide mentoring to Site Managers, Supervisors and Senior Technicians.
  • Bachelor's degree in electronics, engineering or technological field or equivalent experience required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience requirements may be waived for successful graduates of the TRIMEDX Clinical Engineering Leadership Program although the preferred path for program graduates is to gain experience as a Site Manager first.
  • Preferred path includes prior experience as a Site Manager.
  • Technical certification such as A+, CBET, CRES, CLES, or CCE preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee site operations and provide direction to others using knowledge and experience of technology and/or equipment.
  • Motivate others through praise, recognition, and rewards.
  • Manage personnel by staffing and scheduling technicians to ensure optimal service.
  • Coach and mentor technicians, site managers, and supervisors, providing feedback on performance and documentation.
  • Influence change through recommendations and guiding professionals based on credibility and technical knowledge.
  • Manage Service Operations functions, including service contracts and resources, and review demand labor, parts, contracts, and labor.
  • Manage the work order approval process.
  • Manage site KPIs (PM’s, WOT’s, Alerts, and Regulatory).
  • Deliver Quarterly Value Reviews and/or System-level reports or meetings.
  • Administer MEMP to key performance measures.
  • Investigate and discern the root cause of technological/process problems.
  • Manage inventory of shop supplies and database stockroom for accuracy, including an annual inventory.
  • Develop service strategies and identify continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Provide metrics to TRIMEDX Central Office and work to meet these requirements.
  • Manage Joint Commission inspections, prioritize open work orders, and document performance assurance inspections.
  • Provide timely feedback on projects and other assigned requests.
  • Set local strategy to achieve goals within established parameters, policies, or management direction.
  • Determine and execute local strategies.
  • Champion and lead continuous improvement initiatives, evaluate site-wide metrics, identify root causes, and build corrective actions.
  • Identify variances to the norm and make decisions about corrective actions.
  • Define and recommend solutions for issues raised by external customers (System C-suite level), with regular interaction.
  • Use policies as guides and apply sound judgment in daily activities.
  • Support and make recommendations on continuous improvement initiatives and collaborate with leadership to implement corrective actions.
  • Build relationships across a diverse and complex customer base.
  • Collaborate effectively with customers and vendors to develop win-win solutions.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities for business entry.
  • Manage financial performance.
  • Define and recommend solutions for issues raised by external customers (Hospital C-suite level), ensuring regular interaction.
  • Promote opportunities for scope of service expansions.
  • Be accountable for long-term technical strategic scope of service expansion.
  • Engage with the client locally to understand growth opportunities and provide insights into operational leadership, client services, and key internal stakeholders.
  • Choose methods, operate within set parameters (policy or management), and use authority to determine and execute local strategies.
  • Provide clear direction to ensure collective achievement of goals and objectives.
  • Create an environment of respect, collaboration, and open communication.
  • Identify and support development needs of direct reports and team members, connecting them to internal and external resources.
  • Create high levels of employee engagement by understanding organizational and personal drivers and developing action plans.
  • Set clear goals and expectations for teams, monitor performance, enable performance, and intervene with appropriate action when performance gaps occur.
  • Provide timely, honest feedback and ensure associates complete assigned actions by required deadlines.
