About The Position

Dewberry is seeking a Senior Site Acquisition Specialist for its Real Estate and Commercial Development team. The role is based in Danville, Virginia, with remote candidates considered if they meet the position criteria. The position supports a fast-paced market segment and involves permitting, easement and lease review, utility modifications, new-build and renovation projects, site and EV permitting, and other real estate-related work, including site builds, modifications, and entitlement services.

The specialist tracks project deliverables, schedules, and financials, and oversees projections to help achieve milestone completion dates on time. Working collaboratively with Dewberry’s multidisciplinary teams, the specialist tracks projects and reports site-by-site schedules and task forecasts to clients. The role is responsible for successful execution of site-specific services, client satisfaction, project delivery, technical quality, and coordination of site services across an established network of offices. The successful candidate reports to a Program Manager and has access to corporate technical expertise and experienced subject matter experts.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
• Strong interest in working with commercial clients to deliver integrated services.
• Strong understanding of and experience working collaboratively.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong skills using Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Willingness to learn and expand knowledge in real estate, advanced technical programs, and business.

• Bachelor of Science degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage permitting, easement and lease review, utility modifications, new-build and renovation projects, site and EV permitting, and other real estate-related projects.
• Support new site builds, site modifications, and entitlement services.
• Track project deliverables, schedules, and financials, and oversee projections for timely achievement of milestone completion dates.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on projects in the Real Estate and Commercial Development market segment.
• Track projects and report schedules and task forecasts to clients on a site-by-site basis.
• Execute site-specific services and support client satisfaction, project delivery, and technical quality.
• Coordinate site services within Dewberry’s established network of offices.
