About The Position

Valkyrie Enterprises has a need for a Senior Signature/Data Analyst in Huntsville, AL. In this role, you will work on the MDA Targets and Countermeasures program for solid fuel debris model development and validation, pre and post-flight trajectory analysis, and on-site mission support. You will support the development, integration, analysis, and documentation of target analysis products for pre-mission and post-mission activities for all MDA Flight Tests. This includes planning test activities, providing recommendations for team assignments, and contributing to the development of Target Vehicle notional trajectories, flight scenarios, and debris scenes. You will deploy for test missions and develop data analysis products such as Target Best Estimated Trajectory (BET), Target Quick-look Brief, and Target Launch Time within a required 24-hour (quick-look) timeframe, ensuring accuracy of data products. You will also participate in target development and test planning activities such as Target System Readiness Reviews, Preliminary Design Reviews, Critical Design Reviews, and Target and Test Readiness Reviews, providing analysis and recommendations. Additionally, you will prepare technical reports and/or briefings on various technical aspects of Flight Test Targets.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with at least 20 years of experience, or master’s degree with at least 12 years of experience
• Experience in minimum of 2 of the following areas: trajectory/kinematic simulation, EO/IR sensor exploitation, RF sensor exploitation, geodesy
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work well alone and with a team

Nice To Haves

• B.S. in Engineering or Physics highly desired
• M.S. in Engineering or Physics
• Active Security Clearance desired
• Experience working independently and/or leading sub-teams to analyze and resolve problems
• Skilled in use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
• Skilled in use of Matlab, and TAOS software
• Familiar with STK software
• Experience with missiles, targets, missile defense systems or hypersonic weapons

Responsibilities
