About The Position

Valkyrie Enterprises is seeking an MBSE Systems Analyst in Huntsville, Alabama, contingent upon prime contractor approval. The analyst will aid the MDA Chief Engineer in transforming the agency’s approach to engineering and help move the agency away from document-driven engineering. The role involves capturing and developing system models that will serve as the backbone for future MDA engineering efforts, using a variety of model-based systems engineering tools, and coordinating with internal and external teams to collaborate on models. Minimal travel is expected, at 10% or less. The position requires an active Secret clearance and the ability to maintain it. Any employment offer is contingent upon successful completion of applicable pre-employment requirements, which may include background, employment and education checks, drug screening, driving record review, security clearance eligibility, and access requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• At least 7 years of relevant experience.
• Strong model-based engineering experience.
• Ability to excel in a team setting.
• Experience in interface or interoperability engineering domains.
• Active Secret clearance and ability to maintain it.
• Ability to obtain and maintain appropriate identification credentials, such as REAL ID, by the start of the position if required for domestic air travel or access to secure federal facilities or military bases.

Nice To Haves

• Expertise in MBSE tools such as SysML, Cameo, MathWorks Simulink, MATLAB, Visio, or ModelCenter.
• MDA experience.
• Expertise in C2, data transport, PNT, or interoperability.

Responsibilities
