About The Position

The Senior SharePoint Consultant leads and delivers complex collaboration and content management solutions across SharePoint Online and on-premises environments. The role focuses on SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive migrations, advanced platform management, and architectural design, while advising clients throughout planning and execution.

The consultant designs secure, compliant, scalable, and well-governed SharePoint architectures; assesses existing environments; and develops migration strategies, roadmaps, and technical documentation. They lead migrations between on-premises environments and SharePoint Online and between Microsoft 365 tenants, including Teams and OneDrive migrations. The role also involves advanced platform administration, governance, troubleshooting, technical leadership, mentoring, and supporting pre-sales work when needed.

The position is based in West Chester, Ohio, with a hybrid or remote work arrangement. It is eligible for a bonus, with no commission.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of hands-on experience with SharePoint, including on-premises and SharePoint Online.
• Strong experience performing SharePoint migrations, including on-premises-to-SharePoint Online and tenant-to-tenant migrations.
• Proven expertise with Teams and OneDrive tenant-to-tenant migrations.
• Deep knowledge of SharePoint architecture, including information architecture, hub sites, site collections, permissions, security models, governance, and compliance.
• Experience with SharePoint Advanced Management governance solution modules and configuration.
• Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 services and integrations.
• Experience using third-party migration tools such as ShareGate, Quest, BitTitan, AvePoint, or similar.
• Ability to lead technical discussions with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement SharePoint architecture aligned with security, compliance, scalability, and governance best practices.
• Assess existing environments and create migration strategies, roadmaps, and technical documentation.
• Gather requirements from stakeholders and translate them into technical solutions.
• Lead and execute SharePoint migrations from on-premises environments to SharePoint Online and between Microsoft 365 tenants.
• Plan, execute, and validate Teams and OneDrive migrations, and provide post-migration support.
• Troubleshoot complex SharePoint and Microsoft 365 issues across hybrid and cloud environments.
• Provide advanced SharePoint administration and management, including permissions, site structures, hub sites, and lifecycle management.
• Ensure alignment with governance, compliance, and security best practices.
• Use SharePoint Advanced Management governance solution modules and configuration.
• Serve as a technical lead on engagements and guide and mentor junior consultants.
• Support pre-sales activities, including solution design, scoping, and effort estimation when needed.
• Produce technical documentation, runbooks, and client deliverables.
