About The Position

Arbors Management has been in business for over 40 years, supporting communities throughout Western Pennsylvania, West Virginia, and Eastern Ohio. They are seeking a compassionate, organized Senior Services Coordinator to serve as a bridge between senior residents and the community resources they need to thrive. The ideal candidate is an advocate at heart who enjoys planning events and helping others "age in place."

Requirements

  • Relevant work experience.
  • Excellent writing skills and a "people-first" communication style.
  • The ability to build trust with seniors while maintaining professional boundaries.
  • Proficiency in computer programs and reporting software for daily documentation.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Must pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
  • Must be able to work independently and manage a self-directed schedule.

Nice To Haves

  • A Degree in Social Work (or a related field)

Responsibilities

  • Provide guidance on Medicare, Medicaid, and supportive social services.
  • Partner with local care providers and hospitals to ensure smooth transitions for residents returning home.
  • Schedule educational speakers and on-site classes to keep residents engaged and informed.
  • Create and distribute monthly property newsletters, brochures, and welcome packets.
  • Maintain secure, confidential files and document interactions with residents and families.
