About The Position

RapDev is hiring a Senior ServiceNow Engineer to solve complex problems for ServiceNow customers and integrate new technologies with the ServiceNow platform. The role involves developing and maintaining software applications, creating scalable and testable code, building third-party integrations, and supporting customer implementations and remote services. The engineer may work with ServiceNow and technologies such as AWS, GCP, Azure, Jenkins, GitHub, and QA tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or a related field.
• 5+ years of development experience with JavaScript or ServiceNow.
• Experience working with ITOM products is required.
• Experience or willingness to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
• Self-learner who is eager to understand new technologies.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with cloud-native implementations of Discovery, ServiceMapping, and AIOps.

Responsibilities

• Develop quality software and web applications.
• Analyze and maintain existing software applications.
• Design highly scalable, testable code.
• Discover and fix programming bugs.
• Develop third-party integrations using REST, SOAP, mid servers, and related technologies.
• Create custom business rules, client scripts, script includes, UI policies, ACLs, and UI scripts.
• Work independently with customers on implementations and remote services.
• Troubleshoot basic configuration and script issues.
• Attend requirements review and validation sessions as needed.
• Participate in SCRUM calls.
• Use strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Stay on time and on task with assigned customer work.
