About The Position

This role is for a Senior ServiceNow Developer (Consultant) with 5-7 years of experience. The position is for an 11-month duration, located in Watsonville, CA, and is an onsite role. The developer will lead technical design sessions, develop solution documentation, and configure/enhance core and custom applications, workflows, and integrations within ServiceNow. Key responsibilities include identifying automation and AI opportunities, managing platform upgrades, performing day-to-day administration, resolving production issues, and mentoring the support team. The role involves supporting modules such as ITSM, ITBM, ITAM, and ITOM, and creating/managing various ServiceNow components like Business Rules, UI Policies, Client Scripts, Notifications, APIs, and ACLs. Best practices for release management and source control are expected. The developer will also manage multiple projects, gather requirements, coordinate with stakeholders, design integrations, create dashboards, and deliver user training, while staying current with ServiceNow capabilities.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of experience in ServiceNow development.
  • Experience with ITSM, ITBM, ITAM, and ITOM modules.
  • Proficiency in creating and managing Business Rules, UI Policies, Client Scripts, Notifications, APIs, and ACLs.
  • Knowledge of release management and source control best practices.
  • Experience in designing data import/export integrations.
  • Ability to gather requirements and coordinate with stakeholders.
  • Experience in creating dashboards and operational reports.
  • Ability to deliver user training.
  • Ability to stay current with ServiceNow capabilities.

Responsibilities
