About The Position

Catch22 is seeking an experienced and values-led Senior Service Manager – Health & Wellbeing to provide operational leadership across a diverse portfolio of children and young people’s services. These services include substance use, emotional health, risk and resilience, prevention, early help, and wider health and wellbeing provision. The role reports to the Assistant Director and involves leading and supporting service managers and senior leads to ensure services are safe, high quality, financially sustainable, and focused on delivering meaningful outcomes for children, young people, and families. The successful candidate will maintain strong oversight of performance, safeguarding, quality, compliance, finance, people management, and continuous improvement, taking proactive action where risks or pressures emerge. Collaboration with commissioners, partners, internal colleagues, and senior leaders is crucial to strengthen service delivery, support integrated pathways, and contribute to Catch22’s strategic priorities. This role demands confident people leadership, strong operational management, sound judgment, and the ability to translate strategy into clear delivery plans and improvement activities.

Requirements

  • Experience of managing children and young people’s services within health, wellbeing, substance use, emotional health, early help, prevention or related provision.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Financial and performance management experience.

  • Ability to lead teams through change, innovation and service improvement.

Responsibilities
