  • Managed Service Provider (MSP) or Managed Security Services (MSSP) experience

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary escalation point for security alerts generated from multiple platforms, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Investigate escalated security alerts and suspicious activity.
  • Review endpoint, identity, email, and network security events.
  • Evaluate business impact and security risk.
  • Coordinate response efforts when security incidents occur and ensure all stakeholders remain informed throughout the process.
  • Build and maintain incident timelines.
  • Coordinate containment actions.
  • Escalate critical security issues appropriately.
  • Manage communication between customers, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Track remediation efforts and recovery activities.
  • Confirm incident closure requirements.
  • Document lessons learned and follow-up recommendations.
  • Help customers secure their Microsoft 365 and identity environments by investigating security events, identifying risks, and recommending improvements to strengthen their security posture.
  • Investigate risky sign-ins and impossible travel events.
  • Analyze MFA fatigue attacks and password spray indicators.
  • Review suspicious mailbox activity and privileged access concerns.
  • Identify legacy authentication risks and Conditional Access gaps.
  • Recommend security improvements that balance risk reduction and business requirements.
  • Help ensure customers maintain effective endpoint protection by overseeing security posture, coordinating threat response activities, and partnering with CrowdStrike Falcon Complete's 24x7 managed security team.
  • Review and validate security incidents escalated by CrowdStrike Falcon Complete and other security platforms.
  • Coordinate with CrowdStrike analysts during threat investigations and response activities.
  • Track containment, remediation, and recovery actions through resolution.
  • Identify systems lacking endpoint protection, security coverage, or policy compliance.
  • Review high-risk vulnerabilities.
  • Track patching and remediation efforts.
  • Coordinate corrective actions with internal teams.
  • Escalate unresolved security concerns.
  • Assist customers with vulnerability prioritization based on business risk and threat exposure.
  • Develop monthly customer security reports.
  • Create executive-friendly scorecards.
  • Track security trends over time.
  • Monitor vulnerability remediation progress.
  • Identify recurring security concerns.
  • Present actionable recommendations.
  • Develop and refine security playbooks.
  • Improve alert workflows and escalation standards.
  • Identify automation opportunities.
  • Enhance reporting and dashboards.
  • Support compliance and security maturity initiatives.
  • Provide feedback on process improvements.
  • Help standardize security procedures across customers.
  • Serve as an internal subject matter expert for key security technologies and processes.
  • Assist with security platform configuration and optimization.
  • Improve alert routing and workflow efficiency.
  • Support automation and workflow improvement initiatives.
  • Identify tool gaps and optimization opportunities.
  • Maintain documentation and procedures.
  • Advise leadership on security platform improvements.
  • Support internal teams with security-related questions.
