About The Position
Trident Consulting is seeking a Senior Search Platform Engineer specializing in Elasticsearch and OpenSearch for a client in Sunnyvale, California. This onsite, one-year contract assignment has the possibility of extension. The engineer will architect, administer, and optimize large-scale distributed search environments across AWS and GCP. The role calls for strong Java and Python debugging skills and deep experience with distributed systems.
Requirements
- Experience administering and optimizing Elasticsearch and OpenSearch.
- Java and Python application debugging skills.
- Experience with AWS and GCP cloud infrastructure.
- Experience with Terraform, CI/CD, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Experience with monitoring tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, and Datadog.
- Deep experience with distributed systems.
Responsibilities
- Architect, administer, and optimize large-scale distributed Elasticsearch and OpenSearch environments across AWS and GCP.
- Debug backend applications using Java and Python.
