About The Position

Klario is a decision intelligence and change management platform for SAP, built on SAP BTP. It addresses the common issues in SAP change management where the intent of a change gets lost, the impact on people and processes is understood too late, and the decision-making process is difficult to reconstruct. Klario captures the entire chain of change, from the business case to the verified outcome, and uses AI to help organizations assess the true cost of changes before commitment. The architecture team at Klario defines the patterns and guardrails for the product. This role is crucial as the functional authority, ensuring the product aligns with real SAP practices and validating the reference data used for AI model evaluation. The ideal candidate will identify when AI-generated answers are technically correct but operationally naive.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience with SAP Signavio and SAP LeanIX, understanding their capabilities and limitations in capturing and maintaining process and landscape information.
  • Functional grounding in the SAP core, with the ability to reason beyond it and form sensible views on unfamiliar process areas.
  • A career path that began in functional SAP delivery or support and evolved into architecture, including configuration experience.
  • Substantial exposure to SAP change initiatives (e.g., rollouts, acquisitions, redesigns) under real-world conditions.
  • The judgment to differentiate between system configuration and the historical/political reasons behind it.
  • The ability to explain SAP concepts clearly to non-SAP professionals without oversimplification or jargon.
  • Comfort with validating information and returning with a well-supported answer, rather than immediate recall.

Nice To Haves

  • Awareness of the wider SAP portfolio (e.g., SuccessFactors, Sales Cloud, Ariba, Concur) and recognition of cross-functional changes.
  • Experience with S/4HANA transformation (greenfield, brownfield, or selective).
  • Familiarity with SAP BTP or the integration of custom development and integration with the core.
  • Experience working with data or AI teams, or with structured knowledge capture.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the functional reference point for the architecture team across the core SAP process spine, from order to cash through to the financial close.
  • Review and validate the reference datasets used to evaluate AI outputs, judging technical correctness and operational realism.
  • Work with product teams to pressure test features against real SAP change scenarios, identifying assumptions about idealized landscapes.
  • Translate SAP nuances for colleagues without an SAP background, including data scientists, explaining the importance of specific details.
  • Contribute to the architecture team's patterns, standards, and decision records where SAP domain knowledge is critical.
  • Bring customer reality into internal discussions, highlighting common issues, workarounds, and post-change process abandonment.

  • A 401(k) with up to 6% employer match
  • Full medical, dental and vision coverage
