About The Position

As a Senior SAP FICO Consultant, you will be a key player in the consulting team working on this Global project based out of Germany. You will create detailed design, architecture and process artifacts and implement the deployment plan. You will also support knowledge transfer with the objective of providing value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 5-10 years of experience with Information Technology.
• This position may require some travel to project / client locations.

Nice To Haves

• At least 5-7 years of proven experience as an SAP FICO Functional Consultant with 2 implementation projects
• Strong skills in the configuration, enhancement, and support of SAP FI and CO modules: FI: General Ledger, Account Payable, Account Receivable, Asset Accounting, Bank Accounting; CO: Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Internal Orders, CO-PA, Product Costing
• Deep functional knowledge of finance and controlling processes in complex SAP landscapes.
• Experience with financial month-end/year-end closing processes and integration with logistics modules (MM, SD).

Responsibilities

• Create detailed design, architecture and process artifacts.
• Implement the deployment plan.
• Support knowledge transfer with the objective of providing value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.
• Analyze and resolve complex business process and system issues in a production environment.
• Collaborate closely with finance, accounting, and business teams to gather and document requirements.
• Write and validate functional specifications and conduct end-user testing and training.
