About The Position

Deutsche Telekom IT Solutions Slovakia is seeking experienced SAP consultants for various modules (HCM, SF, FI/CO, Logistic) to work on sensitive projects for public sector clients. The role involves maintaining and customizing SAP applications to meet customer demands, providing technical and functional support, and resolving software issues. The company has a significant presence in the Košice region, employing over 3900 people and focusing on innovative information and communication technology services.

Requirements

Expertise in S/4HANA
Experience with ABAP debugging
Understanding of business environment and IT, processes, organization, implications of changes, and IT architecture
Proficiency in specific SAP modules, customizing, and SAP reports
Ability to read ABAP code and debug system behavior
Ability to consult technical solutions with system users
Team player, flexibility, desire and passion to learn new methods and work processes
Experience with consulting, gathering functional/technical requirements from a client, analyzing and preparing new solutions, testing, and participation in roll-outs
Strong interpersonal skills, fast learning, perfect consulting and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently on assigned tasks
Strong customer orientation, initiative, and enthusiasm
Results-oriented, able to complete tasks on time under pressure
Willingness to travel
English and German language skills at minimum B2 level (required for all modules except HCM)
Possible specialization: Strong experience in and knowledge of SAP process
Strong hands-on configuration skills on SAP ERP experience, as well as cross-functional experience to understand configuration set-up and data processing
Strong experience in and knowledge of report writer and report painter
Strong experience in and knowledge of SAP Implementation ASAP Methodology

Responsibilities

Configuration and implementation of client’s SAP modules, including functional expertise, hands-on delivery, customization, guidance, presentation, and instruction on SAP products.
Collaboration with personnel to understand business needs and translate them into SAP ERP configuration, reports, and specifications.
Serving as the direct point of contact for clients regarding troubleshooting strategy for relevant modules, including investigating, analyzing, and solving software problems.
Mapping client business requirements, processes, and objectives, and developing necessary product modifications.
Defining systems strategy, developing systems requirements, designing and prototyping, testing, training, qualifying, and quantifying support procedures, and implementing practical business solutions under deadlines.
Acting as a technical lead and functional project manager for company-wide SAP projects and participating in implementation projects.
Writing ABAP query reports and dialog programs, and/or interacting directly with ABAP writers.
Ensuring a clear understanding of customer master data management, its homogeneity, impact on business, and master data management policy.
Providing continuous feedback on project status and offering constructive options to ensure projects meet expectations.
Demonstrating strong and professional customer service commitment.
Utilizing technical and industry knowledge to identify complex client issues and build long-term business relationships.
Training and mentoring junior colleagues to support continuous improvement.
Analyzing customer demand for SAP application customization to propose appropriate solutions and realization.
Consulting with ABAP developers or solution designers and proposing implementation designs for new SAP application components.
Documenting system changes and new component designs for readability.
Testing newly added functionalities to eliminate errors in the productive system.
Presenting proposed solutions to the customer.
Potentially serving as a senior support for new business or transitions within different SAP modules.
