About The Position

The Senior Salesforce Engineer organizes, modifies, and supports Salesforce Financial Services Cloud (FSC) and nCino. The position designs, modifies, and implements reports, dashboards, workflows, and other system components, and writes code for moderate enhancements or defect correction. It works directly with end users to coach them on effective system use, and performs other projects and duties as assigned. The role supports system administration, integrations, upgrades, security, availability, performance, and integrity. It evaluates processes and technology to identify improvements and works with end users, vendors, and other IT departments to address business needs.

Requirements

5–6 years of experience in banking information services or equivalent successful experience in a similar controls industry.
5–6 years of experience as a software developer, application administrator, or in an equivalent role.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
In-depth knowledge of CRM software.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Strong PC and Microsoft Office Suite proficiency.
Ability to develop appropriate solutions for stakeholders, identify and resolve problems, gather and analyze information, and develop alternative solutions.
Ability to respond promptly to customer needs, listen and seek clarification, and respond well to questions.
Ability to handle frequent change, delays, or unexpected events; follow instructions and management direction; and take responsibility for actions.
Sound and accurate judgment, tactful interactions, respect and consideration for others, accuracy, thoroughness, and a focus on quality improvement.

Nice To Haves

Direct Salesforce Engineer experience is strongly preferred.
Salesforce Admin certification plus one additional Salesforce, FSC, or nCino certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Create, implement, and maintain dashboards, workflows, system setup, and access for nCino/Salesforce FSC.
Review loan-system processes and identify improvements to operational efficiency through nCino/Salesforce FSC.
Develop integrations between Salesforce FSC and external business applications, including core banking systems and financial applications.
Support the administrative needs of nCino/Salesforce FSC.
Assist with maintaining, installing, and deploying system component upgrades.
Ensure system components are designed to work properly together.
Write code, including triggers, Apex, Java, or Java snippets, and correct code defects.
Troubleshoot problems reported by users; analyze and isolate issues.
Recommend future upgrades and evaluate or modify system performance.
Assist IT with maintaining system security and availability for authorized users.
Identify end-user needs and opportunities for efficiency and optimization.
Maintain system integrity and evaluate and implement technology and system improvements.
Ensure proper implementation and integration of secure mobile solutions as they become available.
Create and monitor support cases with vendors supporting lines of business.
Partner with other IT departments to address needs.
Coach and teach end users how to use the systems effectively.
Perform other projects and duties as assigned.
