About The Position

We’re seeking a highly motivated and Salesforce-certified Salesforce Consultant to join our team supporting a USCIS initiative. This role involves close collaboration with clients to gather business requirements, document process flows, and deliver tailored Salesforce solutions through design, configuration, testing, and deployment. As required by our governmental client, this position requires being a US Citizen AND an active DHS Public Trust Clearance or the ability to obtain this clearance.

Requirements

  • 6 years of hands-on Salesforce consulting or implementation experience; minimum 9 years of overall professional experience.
  • Strong business analysis skills; lead client discovery, requirements definition, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Advanced proficiency with Salesforce automation, especially Flow; experience designing production-grade UI in Lightning and Experience Cloud.
  • Track record delivering complex, multi-stakeholder Salesforce programs.
  • Salesforce Certified Administrator plus one or more Consultant-level certifications (Sales, Service, Experience, or Marketing Cloud) required.
  • Familiarity with integrations and APIs; capable of guiding technical integration approaches.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Eligible to obtain and maintain a Government Public Trust Clearance; U.S. citizenship required.
  • Experience with Agile software development methodologies.
  • At least 4 years building Salesforce business process models, writing acceptance criteria, and designing user interfaces for production systems.
  • Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal.

  • Additional certifications preferred: Advanced Administrator, Marketing Cloud, Platform App Builder, OmniStudio, and PSS.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end Salesforce implementations across Public Sector Solutions (PSS), Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and Nonprofit Cloud.
  • Provide technical and functional leadership to cross-functional project teams; mentor junior consultants and contribute to internal best practices, accelerators, and solution frameworks.
  • Design and implement automation using Flow, Approval Processes, Einstein features, and other declarative tools; optimize business processes to reduce manual work and improve operational efficiency.
  • Ensure automation is scalable, maintainable, and aligned with governance and compliance standards.
  • Partner with stakeholders to validate designs via prototypes and iterative feedback cycles.
  • Facilitate discovery sessions and stakeholder workshops to capture business, functional, and technical requirements; translate needs into solution designs, user stories, and implementation roadmaps.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor on Salesforce platform capabilities, architecture, and optimization opportunities.
  • Design scalable data and security models, and automation frameworks aligned to federal requirements.
  • Configure and customize Salesforce using declarative tools and best-practice architecture patterns.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned
