About The Position

Cardinal Technology Systems Corp. is a government IT solutions provider servicing commercial and government initiative in various parts of the United States. We are currently seeking a Salesforce Consultant to work for our company. Must possess IT-II security clearance or have a current National Agency Check with Local Agency Check and Credit Check (NACLC). (Basic Federal Clearance requirements are U.S. Citizenship, clear criminal history check, no recent or pending bankruptcies)

Requirements

  • Must possess IT-II security clearance or have a current National Agency Check with Local Agency Check and Credit Check (NACLC). (Basic Federal Clearance requirements are U.S. Citizenship, clear criminal history check, no recent or pending bankruptcies)
  • 6+ years of experience in an IT-related field.
  • Must have a bachelor’s degree.
  • Must have strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end Salesforce solution delivery, including discovery, design, development, testing, and deployment
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, aligning Salesforce capabilities with business objectives
  • Design scalable solutions across Salesforce clouds (e.g., Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud)
  • Define and implement best practices for data model design, security, automation, and integrations
  • Architect and oversee integrations using APIs, middleware, and third-party tools
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to developers, admins, and junior consultants
  • Drive DevOps and release management strategies (CI/CD, version control, sandbox strategy)
  • Ensure compliance with governance, security, and data privacy standards
  • Lead workshops, requirements gathering sessions, and executive briefings
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, and innovation
  • Supports project objectives through activities such as conducting interviews, gathering data, analyzing data, and developing recommendations in support of project objectives.
  • Responsible for the design and development of application prototypes, utilities, and solutions across multiple environments using full life-cycle methodologies (requirements definition, design, development, testing and implementation).
  • Can interpret risk management, cyber security, compliance, privacy, and/or audit requirements and implement them.
  • Establish and enforce Salesforce FinOps practices, ensuring cost transparency and accountability across business units
  • Optimize license utilization, storage consumption, and feature adoption to reduce waste and maximize ROI
