About The Position

The Senior FX Sales Representative works within Capital Markets and is responsible for driving foreign exchange sales revenue through high-quality client servicing, proactive business development, strong internal partnerships, and delivering on the full suite of KeyBank FX products. The role involves demonstrating mastery of foreign exchange markets and products, providing clients with consultative FX risk management and payment solutions, and ensuring effective client onboarding. The representative will deliver excellence in customer service and trade execution, employ a strategic approach to business development, maintain a quality FX pipeline, and organize client education events. Building strong internal relationships and contributing to a team-oriented culture are also key aspects of the position. The role requires continuous learning and development, mentoring junior representatives, and demonstrating a strong comprehension of risk management within the business and industry context. Adherence to all policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements is mandatory, along with performing other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a Corporate FX Sales Representative (required)
  • NFA Associated Person Certification within 90 Days (required)
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience (preferred)
  • Experience with FX technology and trading platforms (preferred)
  • Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) CFA (preferred)
  • Deep understanding of FX products (spot, forward, swaps, options) and market dynamics.
  • Proven interpersonal and technical skills in managing and growing client relationships through strategic account management and exceptional service.
  • Uses strategic thinking to align with client goals, drive engagement, and build lasting partnerships.
  • Skilled in developing and executing sales plans, managing pipelines (e.g., Salesforce), and consistently achieving revenue targets.
  • Strong in business development, from prospecting to closing new business.
  • Proficiency in identifying, analyzing, and advising on FX risk, including balance sheet and cash flow hedging strategies.
  • Proficient at conducting quantitative and qualitative analysis to support client recommendations and internal decisions
  • Excellent verbal and written communication for client presentations, internal collaboration, and documentation.
  • Experience mentoring junior team members and contributing to a collaborative team culture.
  • Skilled with FX trading platforms, Bloomberg, Reuters, Microsoft Office Suite, and CRM tools like Salesforce.
  • Understanding of financial regulations, hedge accounting (US GAAP), and compliance with industry standards.
  • Commitment to staying current with market trends, regulatory changes, and professional development.

Responsibilities
