Senior Sales & Merchandising Associate
About The Position
Perry’s Supply is seeking a Senior Sales & Merchandising Associate to support customer sales, merchandising, inventory, and day-to-day store operations. This position is suited to an organized, customer-focused person comfortable balancing hands-on store responsibilities with sales and merchandising work. The role combines customer service and sales with product stocking, display coordination, inventory control, equipment maintenance, and recordkeeping. The associate helps improve the customer experience and sales performance by providing knowledgeable product recommendations, keeping merchandise organized and presentable, and identifying opportunities to improve sales.

Responsibilities
- Assist customers in person and over the phone by identifying their needs and recommending appropriate products and services.
- Accurately process sales transactions in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Maintain product knowledge and confidently discuss available options with customers.
- Pull appropriate products from the sales floor or warehouse.
- Stock shelves and maintain clean, organized, and presentable sales areas.
- Set up product displays and coordinate merchandising updates.
- Work with visual-display staff and department heads to determine product placement and maximize sales.
- Monitor sales trends and customer behavior to help identify product needs.
- Assist with planning product ranges and developing sales and stock plans with buyers.
- Forecast sales and help optimize sales volume and profitability within designated product areas.
- Gather customer feedback and reactions to products.
- Follow inventory-control procedures and help maintain appropriate stock levels.
- Identify and suggest opportunities to improve sales.
- Prepare customer drawdowns for submission.
- Clean, fill, and repair equipment as needed.
- Maintain accurate work-order files and formulas.
- Clean and maintain store equipment.
