About The Position

The Senior Sales Manager will work with a VP of Client Development to identify new contacts, build and maintain strong client relationships, and create cohesive proposals. This role offers the opportunity to grow into an individual contributor role, owning and executing your own sales pipeline. The position involves supporting capabilities meetings, presentations, and project scoping conversations with prospective clients, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and monitoring market trends and competitor activities. Additionally, the role requires attending industry events and conferences to network and stay updated on industry developments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Market Research/Insights, Analytics or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in sales, preferably in the market research or insights industry.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven track record in achieving sales team goals.
  • Ability to be self-starting and work autonomously while contributing to the team.
  • Analytical and consultative mindset.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and a CRM system (a plus).
  • Willingness to travel as required.

Responsibilities

  • Identify new contacts, leveraging Linked In and other resources with the goal of uncovering opportunities within both current clients and new business.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Build cohesive proposals including summarization of objectives, pricing and methodological recommendations.
