Senior Sales Manager - Client Management

About The Position

We’re looking for a Senior Sales Manager for our Relationship Management team to join our ever evolving Travel Vertical team and help us unleash the potential of every business. This role provides leadership for the travel vertical relationship management team, including planning, coaching, recruiting, selection, performance development, and mentoring of team members. It involves monitoring staff performance, implementing goals, documenting progress, approving incentive compensation, and partnering with the People Team on employee-related matters. The position drives activities involved in selling Worldpay products and services, developing new accounts, and expanding existing client relationships. It directs resources in a cost-effective, innovative manner, assisting sales executives in effective use of tools and resources. The role participates in establishing financial goals, objectives, and measurements to achieve growth targets, and develops and executes sales plans, goals, strategies, and objectives to achieve team and revenue objectives. It identifies critical market segments through market research and competitor analysis, recommending strategies for improvement. The Senior Sales Manager implements and executes sales policies and practices, oversees trade show participation, and contributes to planning of sales meetings. This role prepares sales production reports for senior management and participates in building, packaging, and price setting to meet market needs. It monitors client survey results to ensure positive client relationships and satisfaction, responding to feedback as needed, and ensures the development and maintenance of long-term relationships with Worldpay’s client base. The position instills a belief in Worldpay’s vision, mission, and goals, establishing Worldpay as an industry expert and leader. It encourages staff participation in product, service, and industry-related educational opportunities to strengthen skills and customer service, and assists sales executives in attaining revenue goals, including development of tactical and strategic plans to create and close opportunities. Other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.
  • Strong management, organizational, team building, coaching, and mentoring skills.
  • Demonstrated business acumen, industry knowledge, financial management, and planning skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of Worldpay products and services.
  • Deep knowledge of payment solutions technology, including systems, applications, and industry practices.
  • Expert negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present ideas clearly and professionally.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management in an organized, professional manner.
  • Strong productivity, planning, and workload management skills.
  • Solid decision-making, problem-solving, and analytical skills to determine client business needs.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and resolve employee-related issues.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of management, employees, clients, and the public.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
