About The Position

This is not a typical sales position. As we expand in the region, you will be responsible for building our presence in the Australian and New Zealand market, working with some of the most exciting banks and financial technology organisations in the region. You will have the freedom to open new opportunities, shape conversations, and grow long term partnerships, supported by a global team of experts in Data Science, Solutions Consulting, and Professional Services. You will be the trusted advisor that clients turn to when they wish to address critical challenges, whether that is preventing fraud, scaling digital onboarding, or unlocking the benefits of AI in credit decisioning. An opportunity to own and grow a market from the ground up supported by a proven global platform, with a competitive base salary and uncapped commission aligned to a balanced base and variable structure. The role offers flexible and remote friendly working arrangements with travel for client meetings and regional collaboration, alongside the chance to work with leading banks, financial technology companies, and payment providers across Australia and New Zealand. Requirements

  • Proven track record in enterprise SaaS, fintech, or data-driven platforms with consistent revenue success.
  • Hunter mentality with strategic depth, balancing short-term wins with long-term account expansion.
  • Ability to engage senior stakeholders to uncover pain points and shape high-value solutions.
  • Knowledge of at least two of the following areas: credit risk, fraud, customer onboarding, or collections, with the ability to contextualise these within Provenir’s value proposition.
  • Comfortable articulating the value of AI and advanced analytics.
  • Genuine curiosity to champion Provenir’s vision of making AI-driven decisioning accessible, transparent, and value-generating.
  • Skilled at building long-term partnerships, establishing trust at C-level, and maintaining strong operational ties.
  • Awareness of the ANZ financial services and fintech ecosystem, with the ability to provide client and market intelligence.
  • Adept at working cross-functionally with Data Science, Solutions Consulting, and Professional Services to ensure delivery success.
  • Strong communicator, negotiator, and storyteller capable of positioning Provenir as a thought leader in the industry.
  • 8–12 years of overall sales experience, with a minimum of 5 years in enterprise SaaS, fintech, or data-driven platforms.
  • Demonstrated success over at least 3 years in selling to financial services or fintech clients within the ANZ region, ideally engaging Tier 1–2 banks, large non-bank financial institutions, or high-growth fintechs.
  • Seniority and presence to build trusted relationships with C-level executives, combined with the hunter mindset and resilience needed to open new opportunities and drive market growth from the ground up.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, engage, and convert new business opportunities across banks, fintechs, and adjacent industries.
  • Lead early-stage conversations with prospects, shaping use cases and framing the business value before handing over to presales and professional services for deeper technical solutioning.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities, driving the full sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure.
  • Develop account strategies that balance short-term revenue wins with long-term partnerships and multi-product expansion.
  • Represent the company at industry forums, roundtables, and client workshops, positioning us as a thought leader in risk decisioning, customer management, and AI-driven innovation.
  • Collaborate closely with Data Science, Professional Services, and Product teams to ensure client needs are understood and delivered with precision.
  • Provide market intelligence and feedback to shape our go-to-market strategy, pricing models, and solution roadmap in Australia.
  • Foster long-term client relationships built on trust, value delivery, and continuous engagement.
  • Consistently achieve and exceed revenue targets while driving adoption of our solutions in the region.
