About The Position

GitGuardian is a global cybersecurity scale-up with offices in Paris, New York City, and Boston. We are a leader in Non-Human Identity security, providing end-to-end solutions for secrets detection, remediation, observability, and leak prevention. Our platform is used by over 600,000 developers worldwide. As a Senior Sales Engineer, you will support a long sales cycle by explaining and demonstrating our platform to various stakeholders. You will work closely with Account Executives as their technical voice and product expert, assisting in closing deals. Your responsibilities will include supporting Proof of Concepts (PoCs), conducting technical product demos, addressing concerns, and generating pipeline through secrets analysis. You will also architect and build custom workflows for prospective customers to showcase product value and integration. Post-sales, you will handle Tier 1 support for existing Enterprise customers and collaborate with Marketing and Product teams to develop technical collateral.

Requirements

  • Significant experience (4+ years) as a technical Sales Engineer in a Cybersecurity, DevOps or DevSecOps focused environment.
  • Solid understanding of the modern SDLC, the difference between microservices and monolithic architecture, and CI/CD.
  • Ability to "talk shop" about software development workflows (SDLC), deployment (CI/CD), and application structure (Microservices) with technical teams.
  • Experience working through complex sales cycles in large Enterprise environments.
  • Well-developed project management skills, including the ability to articulate experience in multi-threading with multiple stakeholders.
  • Customer-facing & sales-oriented personality.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Account Executives in the pre-sales period, acting as GitGuardian’s technical voice & product expert to help close deals.
  • Provide support for PoCs, performing technical product demos and soothing concerns.
  • Support pipeline generation by running secrets analysis.
  • Architect and build out custom workflows for prospective customers to show them the value of our product and how it will fit into their environment.
  • Handle Tier 1 support needs for existing Enterprise customers post-sales.
  • Partner with the Marketing and Product teams to create technical collaterals for better understanding of our solutions and market needs.
