Senior Sales Enablement Specialist

Assort HealthSan Francisco, CA
$90,000 - $150,000Onsite

About The Position

Assort Health is seeking a Sales Enablement Specialist or Manager to take ownership of both content creation and delivery for their sales team. This role involves building and maintaining onboarding curriculum, certification materials, skills workshops, SDR playbooks, and product enablement assets, ensuring they remain up-to-date with product, segment, and sales process evolution. The position also requires leading live sessions, running cohorts, coaching representatives, and ensuring the effectiveness of the created content. The Specialist will collaborate with the Enablement Lead, who focuses on strategy, program design, and leadership development, while the Specialist drives execution by providing reps with necessary, well-built, and consistently delivered content. The ideal candidate is a builder who enjoys direct engagement and understands that effective enablement focuses on skill development rather than just slide presentations.

Requirements

  • 2–5 years of experience in sales enablement, sales training, or a related GTM role (SaaS preferred).
  • Experience standing up or running onboarding programs and ability to articulate priorities for the first six months.
  • A problem-solving approach to enablement, focusing on what reps need to succeed.
  • Command-of-the-message or value-selling background (not feature training).
  • Operational proficiency: ability to manage a calendar, coordinate logistics across stakeholders, and keep programs on schedule.
  • Strong facilitation skills, comfortable running live sessions and engaging an audience.
  • Comfort working in a fast-moving, evolving environment with the opportunity for significant input.
  • Familiarity with Gong, Salesforce, Accord, or similar GTM tools.

Responsibilities

  • Own logistics for monthly onboarding cohorts, including scheduling, SME coordination, new-hire communications, and content preparation for AEs, SDRs, and SEs across Provider Group and Health Systems segments.
  • Facilitate sessions and structured activities such as pitch practice, deal simulations, and role-plays.
  • Manage the rep Month 1-6 onboarding guides and milestone tracking.
  • Administer pitch deck, demo, and deal simulation certifications for both Provider Group and Health Systems segments.
  • Track certification completion, identify areas where reps struggle, and use dropoff data to flag coaching opportunities.
  • Support reinforcement for reps who miss certifications or require additional practice.
  • Own weekly enablement for the SDR team, including dedicated sessions, outbound skill-building, and ongoing coaching support.
  • Run enablement sessions end-to-end, from agenda creation to debrief.
  • Track SDR engagement with enablement content and identify gaps for the Enablement Lead.
  • Facilitate workshops, coordinate role-plays, and conduct call coaching sessions.
  • Apply structured coaching methodology (discovery, qualification, multithreading) across the rep population.
  • Create, organize, and audit content in the LMS and Deal Room, ensuring the enablement library is current and searchable.
  • Support product and tooling enablement rollouts, including session delivery, logistics, and rep communications.
  • Maintain Gong library folders and recording organization.
  • Own the enablement Google Calendar, tracking all sessions, cohorts, and certification deadlines.
  • Run post-session surveys, synthesize feedback, and flag trends to the Enablement Lead.
  • Handle communications for all sessions, including pre-session reminders, resource links, and follow-up recaps.
