About The Position
The Senior Sales Associate consistently achieves individual sales goals in support of store sales and profit objectives, provides superior customer service, and takes on other senior-level responsibilities within the store. The role involves generating sales, promoting Music & Arts’ lesson program, building customer and community relationships, and participating in store operations. The position pays $15.92–$16.92 per hour plus commission, depending on location, background, and experience. Music & Arts offers gig leave for musician employees, a 401(k) with company match, an employee discount program, and other benefits and perks.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Two years of relevant work experience.
- Skilled knowledge of musical instruments and written music.
Responsibilities
- Generate sales to exceed personal sales goals.
- Promote the Music & Arts lesson program.
- Create business by networking with teachers, schools, churches, and community organizations.
- Develop customer relationships and provide compelling sales presentations based on sales training.
- Provide outstanding customer service to every customer.
- Promote customer loyalty.
- Participate in store operations, including merchandising, displays, and maintenance.
- Maintain store security, including perimeter door keys, register keys, and personal alarm code.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
